Timothy Taylor's Boltmaker
A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma – Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines.
Formerly known as Best Bitter, Boltmaker has won many awards over the years but most recently it claimed the gold medal in the bitter category at the 2016 CAMRA Great British Beer Festival.
Try a pint of Boltmaker with a hot roast beef and onion sandwich, the malty notes really complement the sweetness of fried onions. It works equally well with a Roast Beef lunch or sausage and mash, and it is surprisingly good at quenching the heat of a chilli con carne.
Tasting Notes: It has a citrus, fruity and spicy smell with a roasted, malty bitter finish.
