Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough
In 1986, following a tip from a fan, Ben & Jerry’s pondered putting cookie dough in their ice cream – a radical idea back then, and a tricky flavour to make; their machines couldn’t handle those big chunks of dough. They had to hand-cut the chunks & throw them into the vanilla ice cream! Five years later, applying a few secret techniques, they found chunk feeder perfection. Twenty years on, Ben & Jerry’s made this fan-favourite Fairtrade too! Happy days…
